How We Collect SMS Consent

Genesis Heating, Cooling & Refrigeration collects SMS consent in three ways: through this opt-in form, through an explicit consent checkbox on our online booking, estimate request, and proposal signing forms (never pre-checked), or — when a customer reaches us by phone — via a double opt-in process:

  1. A customer contacts Genesis by calling (425) 261-9095 or submitting a request through our website.
  2. A single confirmation text message is sent to the customer's provided phone number:

"Hi [Name], Genesis Heating, Cooling & Refrigeration here. Reply YES to confirm you'd like to receive estimate updates and appointment reminders by text. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to decline."

  1. The customer must reply YES before any further SMS messages are sent.
  2. If the customer replies STOP or does not reply, no further messages are sent.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Genesis.

  • Message frequency varies based on your service interactions, typically 2–8 messages per estimate.
